A shock news report I watched on the BBC’s Breakfast program on December 7th 2022 detailing how the German authorities had swooped on several high-ranking officials and “AfD” (alternative for Germany) party members including an aristocrat; Heinrich XIII Prince Reuss, and some 25+ senior figures from the Polizei, a Judge, an Army commander, so on and so forth suspected of plotting to overthrow the Federal government in the ‘Bundestag’ and return Germany to a Republic using deadly force if necessary had been foiled.Barely awake, I sat thinking at 06.30 clasping a cup of tea “that’s just like my book.” I am not trying to say I’m a fortune teller, and my story is certainly not accurate regarding the factual events, however the plot to overthrow much more than just the Federal Republic of Germany is the substance of the novel I wrote all those years previous – but much more intriguing and exciting! - I assure you.
