Off I went to work as normal but could not get the thought out of my mind all day long. Returning home I searched out both the printed copy and the 5 floppy disks, soon to realise I no longer had a floppy drive fitted in my PC. I purchased an external drive and transferred the files, excitement ensued as I re-read and absorbed the contents. Naturally with some 27 years passing between the initial writing and the real-life events of December 7th, 2022, the book had to be fully revised to offer an up-to date portrayal for the reader. My ruling criteria for the book has always been that there is the possibility the plotline could happen in today's world giving the onward march of technology. To reiterate; the story should be both feasible and plausible rather than fanciful or too far-fetched, it had to be believable, and I feel it gives the reader, I hope, an uncomfortable belief of – what if!
